Seven 3-year-old Thoroughbreds were made eligible to compete in the 2022 Triple Crown with a late nomination fee of $3,000 that was due Monday March 28. This makes a total of 321 horses eligible to compete in the 2022 Triple Crown races, including the early nominations.

• Bye Bye Bobby (B4 Farms) (Todd Fincher) – Sunland Derby second place finisher
• O Captain (OGMA Investments and Jack Towell Jr) (Gustavo Delgado) – Fountain of Youth third place finisher
• Shake Em Loose (JR Sanchez Racing Stable) (Rodolfo Sanchez-Salomon) – Private Terms Stakes winner
• Skippylongstocking (Daniel Alonso) (Saffie Joseph, Jr.) – allowance winner
• Win the Day (Boat Racing, Fritz Brothers Racing and Bill Strauss) (Doug O’Neill) – maiden winner
