Major League Soccer today announced that FC Cincinnati’s Luca Orellano has won the 2024 AT&T MLS Goal of the Year for his incredible long-distance goal in the 57th minute against CF Montréal on Saturday, August 31st at TQL Stadium.

The Argentinian shocked the home crowd at TQL as he launched one of the longest recorded free kicks of 79.81 yards from midfield contributing to his club’s 4-1 victory over CF Montréal. Orellano scored just four minutes earlier in the match also via a free kick, making it his second brace of the season and solidifying his impact as a standout newcomer.
