This weekend, you will be able to watch Lionel Messi like you’ve never watched him before when MLS Supporters’ Shield champions Inter Miami get their playoff campaign under way.
That’s because MLS has announced that TikTok will be broadcasting an exclusive live ‘Player Spotlight’ stream, where the camera will be trained on Messi throughout the match, capturing every swivel, shot and celebration.
It will be the first time TikTok has ever broadcast an entire live match with a single player focus, and the stream will be available to watch exclusively on the @MLS TikTok profile and simulcast on the @InterMiamiCF TikTok profile.
Fans can RSVP for the event here, with the stream beginning five minutes before kick-off on Friday (or the early hours of Saturday depending where you are in the world).
Inter Miami will face the winners of the Eastern Conference Wild Card match, which will be played on Tuesday, October 22, in the first of their MLS Cup Playoffs Round One Best-of-3 Series match.
It will be the first time Messi, Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba will play in the MLS Cup Playoffs, and promises to be a fascinating match.
