Only one more week of the 2022/23 WSL is left to go following six more games on Saturday and Sunday, which left everything still to play at both ends of the table.

Chelsea’s win over Arsenal moved them to within touching distance of a fourth consecutive title, but Manchester United’s late winner against Manchester City pushed the race to the final weekend.

Manchester City’s loss means a top three finish and Cnampions League qualification is now almost impossible, a boost for an Arsenal side who have been limping towards the end of the season.

Tottenham are safe from relegation thanks to a welcome win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but defeat for Leicester means they are still in danger along with Reading.

Read on to find out who made it into 90min’s WSL team of the week.

GK: Ann-Katrin Berger (Chelsea) – Arsenal did have chances and big saves to deny Stina Blackstenius and Frida Maanum were massive in getting Chelsea one step closer to the WSL title.

RB: Ona Batlle (Man Utd) – From the first minute, the Spaniard was a vital attacking outlet in the Manchester derby. More impressively, she kept Lauren Hemp in her pocket throughout.

CB: Maya Le Tissier (Man Utd) – Given the monster task of keeping Khadija Shaw quiet and came out on top, putting in a stellar performance even before a late goal-saving tackle to deny Man City a win.

CB: Magdalena Eriksson (Chelsea) – Signed off in her final Chelsea game at Kingsmeadow with a goal and a clean sheet ahead of starting next season with a new challenge elsewhere.

LB: Taylor Hinds (Liverpool) – Wing-backs are so important in Matt Beard’s system and she played like an additional forward at times, getting into the box and setting up two goals.

RM: Nikita Parris (Man Utd) – Had probably her best game in a Man Utd shirt, posing a threat from the opening kick-off, making chances and having a decisive impact overall.

CM: Erin Cuthbert (Chelsea) – Dominant in midfield with the kind of tenacious tackling that she has become known for, making it difficult for Arsenal to play.

CM: Hayley Ladd (Man Utd) – Her derby goal inside the opening two minutes was everything Man Utd want her to be, winning the ball with a crunching tackle and immediately hitting the top corner.

LM: Kirsty Hanson (Aston Villa) – Carried on a momentous season with another two goals, opening the scoring for Villa and also finding the equaliser in a tense battle with Liverpool.

ST: Bethany England (Tottenham) – A brace in a relegation six-pointer with Reading guarantees Spurs will be a WSL club next season. Without her impact since January, they possibly wouldn’t be.

ST: Katja Snoeijs (Everton) – The Dutch striker has found her feet in a big way since early April, having endured a slow start to life in the WSL. Sunday’s goal made it five in the last five games.
